After Friedrich Grünewald worked for the Uelzener Bierbrauerei-Gesellschaft in 1899 , in which his father, Louis Ernst Grünewald , who was also a member of the supervisory board of the Herrenhausen brewery, Friedrich Grünewald switched to the Hanover Actien brewery. From August 1, 1903, Friedrich Grünewald was a member of its board .
1906 merged the Hannoversche Actien- brewery in the Vereinsbrauerei Herrhausen, consequently, the Hannoversche was shut down Actien Brewery. The year 1906 therefore marks an important date in the company history of today's private brewery Herrenhausen .
