Hanna Feldmann

Live and act

Already at a young age she was known locally for her political hand-made speeches . In later years she devoted herself to the Kronberg club life, the Kronberg dialect and the Kronberg local history. As the author of numerous articles, poems and glosses in historical magazines as well as in local newspapers such as the Taunus-Zeitung , the Kronberger Zeitung, the Kronberger Bote and in the monantsspiegel , she became known in and around Kronberg. In 1973, Hanna Feldmann's first book E Johr dehaam was published by self- publisher: a foray into Kronberg when I was a child .

Feldmann was an honorary member of several associations, a founding member of the association ring , the action group Livable Old Town and the 1st Kronberg amateur play group , which she chaired for many years. For this theater group she wrote fairy tales, historical home plays and open-air plays, which were (premiered) performances in the town hall or in the castle. Her numerous poems were and are an integral part of the regular dialect evenings in Hellhof or at the castle.

She left two sons who today live outside of Europe.

Honors

Her main concern was the maintenance of the Kronberg dialect and the club life. In 1994 Hanna Feldmann was awarded the Saalburg Medal for her services to caring for the homeland. She was the recipient of other awards from the city of Kronberg, the Hochtaunuskreis and the State of Hesse.

In 2003, shortly before her death, she was given honorary citizenship of her hometown.
