Hanna Jansen

Hanna Jansen (* 1946 in Diepholz ) is a German author for children and young people .

Life

Jansen grew up in Osnabrück , where she later studied. In 1988 she moved to Siegburg . She worked for many years as a teacher and moderator for teacher training in Cologne. For ten years she worked in a team of authors for a large school book publisher and initially wrote texts for language books. In spring 2001 her first novel was published. For several years she has also been leading literature and writing workshops in various contexts.

With her husband, Reinhold Jansen, a pediatrician, she adopted 12 children, mostly from Africa. She has lived in Sassen since 2011 .
