Hanna Katz

Johanne "Hanna" Katz , née Johanna Fromme (* July 30, 1902 , † September 1986 ) was a German politician of the FDP .

Life

Katz was a housewife and married to the technical director of Siemens-Schuckertwerke Alfred Katz. In 1945 she joined the FDP Bielefeld and was subsequently from 1949 to 1950 chairwoman of the federal women's advisory board and women's representative on the federal executive board of the FDP . She was also a member of the German Women's Ring in Siegen .

In August 1949, Hanna Katz was named by the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament as a delegate for the first German federal assembly .

Private

Hanna Katz was the mother of the women's rights activist and artist Hannelore Mabry .
