The film sheds light on the life of Hannah Nydahl , a Danish woman from Copenhagen who came into contact with Buddhism while traveling with her husband Ole Nydahl to Nepal . This has led her to a thorough study of the religious sources for which Nydahl learned Tibetan and for the first time translated some of the texts into a European language. Following this, Nydahl and her husband tried to spread Buddhism in the western world and founded the Diamond Way Buddhist institutions at the express request of the 16th Karmapa , Rangjung Rigpe Dorje .

“Marta György Kessler (a long-time travel companion of Hannah) and the British producer Adam Penny did not make it easy for themselves for this 90-minute documentary: they had to sift through tons of materials and conduct countless interviews; therefore it took five years to make the film. The result is a work that is absolutely worth seeing - because it is excellently cut - and has a dense texture. Incidentally, we can hear Hannah's original voice over long distances, telling us about her life. "
