Hannah Dörr

Hannah Dörr (* 1990 in Berlin ) is a German theater director, producer and video artist.

Life

She began with her own video work at P14 - the youth theater of the Volksbühne Berlin . Afterwards she worked for several years at the Volksbühne Berlin, a. a. as assistant to Frank Castorf . From 2010 to 2012 Hannah Dörr studied “Experimental Video Art” at the UDK Berlin with Josephine Pryde and from 2012 to 2016 she studied at the Art Academy for Media Cologne , where she received her diploma.

In 2014 Hannah Dörr founded the TheatralFilm series in Cologne and has curated the event since then.

In 2016 she received the sponsorship award of the state of NRW for young artists in the field of film and became managing director of ÖFilmproduktion.

Hannah Dörr's video works for theater production have been shown at the Zurich Opera , Maxim-Gorki-Theater , Schauspiel Stuttgart , Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , Volksbühne Berlin and HAU 1 in Berlin.
