Hannah Dübgen
Hannah Dübgen (* 1977 in Düsseldorf ) is a German dramaturge , playwright and writer .
life and work
Hannah Dübgen studied philosophy , music and literature in Oxford , Paris and Berlin . After graduation, she worked as a dramaturge in the theater and opera. Her first play Gegenlicht was nominated for the Dramatist's Prize of the Klagenfurt City Theater in 2008, and she also wrote the libretti for several internationally successful operas (including Matsukaze in collaboration with the composer Toshio Hosokawa ). In 2013 Hannah Dübgen took part in the reading competition for the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in Klagenfurt . In August 2013, Dübgen's debut novel Strom was published by dtv in Munich. For this she was awarded the Prize for Literature of the State Capital Düsseldorf 2013 and the Prix du premier roman allemand - Chambéry . Her second novel Über Land was published in August 2016 , also on dtv.
Hannah Dübgen lives and works in Berlin .
