Career

Hannes C. Pfaller has been playing golf since 1993. It all started at GC Schönfeld when he was a member for 4 years and made his first golf shots with ex- Rydercup player Eddy Polland . At the age of 11 he celebrated his first children's and youth tournament victories. In 1996 Hannes moved to GC Golf Range Achau. The friendship with the fully qualified PGA professional, Stephen Bradley begins. Team assignments in the club, soon also nominated for important tournaments in the Austrian Golf Association, were the reward for his intensive training over many years.

The only 16-year-old became the men's club champion in Achau in 1999 and immediately proved himself on the Austrian youth tour in the following season. In 2001 Pfaller played at the GC Schloss Ebreichsdorf and subsequently attracted attention at state championships with several top 10 placements.

In 2002 Pfaller was national champion of the juniors and vice national champion of the men.

After graduating from a business school, Hannes turned professional under his personal trainer, Steve Bradley, in late 2002.

Four years as a PGA trainer at the Haugschlag golf resort followed.

Pfaller celebrated his first professional win in the Czech Republic in 2005 as EON Czcech National Champion. The desire to become a playing pro comes true after two years of preparation for the tour, and Hannes plays on various 3rd level tours, such as the EPD tour and the Alps tour.

In 2007, the EPD tour in the Netherlands followed his lowest lap on the tour with 63 strokes.

By being invited as a member of the Challenge Tour, Pfaller made his debut on the European Tour in 2008 and missed the cut by just one stroke at the Russian Open in Moscow with −1. At the Kleine Zeitung Matchplay Masters , the national season finale, Pfaller took 5th place and scored his first hole-in-one from 144 m with an 8-iron in the Pro-Am.

In 2009 he is one of 12 Austrians with an international category and will concentrate on the Alps Tour (with a full tour card cat. 6).

In 2009 he graduated as a "Senior Golf Manager (FH)" course at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences and has thus acquired one of the highest globally recognized business training in the golf industry.

In 2011 Hannes C. Pfaller ended his active career as a tour player and switched to the private sector after completing his civil service. In the summer semester of 2014, he starts studying law at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz.

After more than 13 years as a golf professional and member of the PGA of Austria, as well as various professional tours, Hannes C. Pfaller will again be an amateur athlete in the Austrian Golf Association in the 2015 season.

He has also been a member of the K.Ö.St.V Rudolfina Wien since March 11, 2014
