Hanno Hurth

Hanno Hurth (born September 16, 1963 in Wiesbaden ) is a German administrative lawyer, politician (independent) and district administrator of the district of Emmendingen .

Life

After graduating from high school in Wiesbaden and doing military service, he first studied history, Latin and Greek at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz in 1983. In 1984 he began studying law at the universities in Mainz and Freiburg. In 1989 he passed the first state examination in law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. He completed his legal clerkship a. a. at the Waldshut-Tiengen District Court, at the Administrative College in Speyer and at the German-Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Toronto. In 1992 the second state examination in law followed in Freiburg.

After working in the district offices of Freudenstadt (1992) and Göppingen (1993), he was personal advisor to the Baden-Württemberg Minister of the Interior, Thomas Schäuble, from 1996 to 1999. Since 1999 Hanno Hurth was first state official and thus deputy of the district administrator in the district office of Esslingen .

In March 2003, the district council elected him to the district administrator for the district of Emmendingen. In March 2011 he was re-elected; his third term began in June 2019 after being re-elected a second time in March 2019.

Since 2007 he has been honorary chairman of the German Red Cross District Association Emmendingen e. V.

Hanno Hurth is married and has three children.
