The ERC Hannover Hurricanez are inline skate hockey teams from Hannover , which are organized as a department of the Ice and Rolling Sports Club Hannover . Home ground is the gymnasium of the IGS Mühlenberg in Hanover district Muhlenberg . The Hannover Hurricanez currently have two men's teams that play on a regional level in Lower Saxony.

1st team

In the 2001 and 2002 seasons, the team, at that time still under the name ERC Hannover, managed to go straight through from the regional league to the inline skater hockey Bundesliga . In their three seasons in the top German division, the Hanoverians have always been able to qualify for the play-offs . Among other things, they reached the semi-finals twice.

For the 2006 season, however, the club returned to the third-class regional league. The reason for this was that the license for the 1st Bundesliga could no longer be worn and it went to the Bissendorfer Panther from Wedemark . The municipality of Wedemark is part of the Hanover region and is only 20 km north of the city area, so that many service providers also moved there.

In 2018, the club withdrew from the regional league to the Lower Saxony state league.

After the promotion to the Regionalliga Nord for the 2014 season, the team directly reached second place in the table (out of 7 teams) and thus the runner-up.

For the 2015 season, the league was increased to 12 (or 11) clubs. (The Pumpkins Oldenburg withdrew from the game during the current season) At the end of this season, the team was in 6th place in the table.

In addition, after victories over the Empelde Maddogs and the Bockum Bulldogs II, they reached the second round (defeat against the Paderborn Rogues) in the ISHD Cup.
