The inline skater hockey Bundesliga has been the top division in German inline skater hockey since 1996 . In the Bundesliga, the league system, in which every club competes against every other club in home and return matches, first determines the participants in the play-offs and finally the German champions . The organizing association is the German Roller Sport and Inline Association with the responsible Inline Skater Hockey Germany Sports Commission .

history

The Bundesliga was introduced for the 1996 season. From 1986 to 1994 the Oberliga (also West German Oberliga or WOL) formed the highest division, in the 1995 season the 1st SHL (1st Skater Hockey League). The first German champion was determined in the 1986 season.

The founding members of the Bundesliga were the Crash Eagles Kaarst , Crefelder SC , Bullskater Düsseldorf , Red Devils Berlin , Bochum Lakers , HC Köln-West , Düsseldorf Rams , Skater Union Augsburg , SU Coeln and Kölner SC Hawks .

From 1996 to 2000 the Bundesliga was played on a single track, but for the 2001 season it was divided into a north and a south season, as this made it easier for the clubs to finance the game. A dovetailing of the seasons only took place in the play-offs. For the 2012 season , the Bundesliga became single-track again. The Bundesliga committee founded in 2010 wanted to concentrate the performance of the top clubs.

Title holder

The record champions of the inline skater hockey Bundesliga are the Duisburg Ducks with eight titles. Including the championships from the pre-Bundesliga period (from 1986), the Duisburg-based team shared this title with the Düsseldorf Rams , who, however, only won the title once during the Bundesliga season, namely in the 1996 premiere season. Other Bundesliga champions are HC Köln-West (5), Crash Eagles Kaarst (4), SHC Rockets Essen (3), TV Augsburg (2) and Samurai Iserlohn .

Abbreviations: Sp = games, G = victories, GP = victories after penalty shoot-out, U = draw, VP = defeat after penalty shoot-out V = defeats, P = points
Explanations:

  1. The eternal table was calculated using the three-point system. The seasons up to and including 2012 have been recalculated accordingly.
  2. Only the regular season games are included in the all-time table, but not play-off, play-down or relegation games.
  3. The SU Coeln played up to and including 2000 as SU Coeln, from 2001 after the merger with RC Kosmos Frechen as SUC Kosmos Frechen.
  4. The SUC Kosmos Frechen withdrew after 6 games in the 2002 season, all points of this season were canceled.
  5. TV Augsburg played as SU Augsburg up to and including 2001, after which the 1st team joined TV Augsburg.
  6. The Cologne SC Hawks were deducted two points in the 1996 season; the recalculation in the three-point system resulted in a deduction of three points.
  7. The Rockets Essen played as mosquitoes eat up to and including 2007; afterwards it was split off as an independent association.
  8. The Commanders Velbert played as Neviges Commanders up to and including 2002; then the name was changed.
  9. After the 2002 season, the Bundesliga clubs Zweibrücken ERC Snipers and VT Zweibrücken merged to form VT Zweibrücken Snipers; Since the new club follows both Bundesliga clubs, it will have its own entry.
  10. The Uedesheim Chiefs were deducted two points in the 2009 season; the recalculation in the three-point system resulted in a deduction of three points.
  11. The Deggendorf Roadrunners withdrew after 6 games in the 2002 season, all points of this season were canceled.
  12. Adler Strausberg was deducted two points in the 2004 season; the recalculation in the three-point system resulted in a deduction of three points.
  13. The Piranhas Oberhausen withdrew before the first match day in the 2003 season, thus being the first relegated team without having played a game.
  14. The IHC Lethmathe Terminators withdrew in time after their promotion in 2001, were reintegrated into the 2nd Bundesliga North in 2002 and therefore do not appear in the all-time table of the 1st Bundesliga.
