The 2015 season is the 20th season of the Inline Skaterhockey Bundesliga , in which a German champion will be determined for the 30th time . The organizer is the Inline Skater Hockey Germany Sports Commission of the German Rolling Sports and Inline Association . The German champion was the SHC Rockets Essen for the first time, which prevailed in the final against the defending champion HC Köln-West Rheinos.

The 1st Bundesliga starts with twelve teams. Each team meets every other team in the first and second leg. There are three points for a win in regular time. If a game ends in a draw after 60 minutes, a penalty shoot-out follows immediately. Two points are awarded for a win after a shootout and one point for a loss after a shootout. In the event of a tie at the end of the main round, the direct comparison decides on the ranking. The first eight teams reach the play-offs. The teams in positions nine and ten have qualified for the next season. The teams in positions eleven and twelve will be relegated directly to the 2nd Bundesliga. The winner of the play-offs is German champions.

Climbers

The TGW Kassel Wizards (champions of the 2nd Bundesliga North) and IHC Atting (champions of the 2nd Bundesliga South) are promoted directly to the 1st Bundesliga. For the first time joint play-offs of the two seasons have decided on promotion. Both teams have won their respective semi-final series; a second division champion was not subsequently determined.
