The IVA Rhein-Main Patriots are an inline skater hockey and inline hockey club in Niddatal-Assenheim . Founded in 1996 under the umbrella of the Assenheim gymnastics club, the Patriots set up as IV Assenheim Patriots in 1999 . In December 2008 they were renamed IVA Rhein-Main Patriots .

In 2001 they moved into the club's own inline hall, which offers the club training and play opportunities. The hall is also used for events such as the final tournament of the inline hockey European Champions Cup 2004 or music events and trade fairs. Since the teams switched to inline skater hockey , they have been playing both in the ISHD and with a men's team in the IHD .

The team was German inline hockey champions six times (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2008) and six times German inline hockey cup winners (1999, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008); each under the umbrella of the IHD (until 2006: IHL).

In skater hockey, the team made it through the march from the regional league (2009) to the first division.
