The Skaterhockey Club Crash Eagles Kaarst 85 eV (CEK) is an inline skaterhockey club founded in Kaarst in 1985 . The 12 league teams play according to the rules of the ISHD .

development

The club was founded on March 24, 1985 and today is one of the largest independent skater hockey clubs in Europe with 350 members and 60 volunteers. Thanks to intensive youth work - for which the club has received several awards - the teams, which have been expanded over the years, have won various championships, trophies and international events.

Youth work

In 2010 a very successful phase began for the CEK's youth work, in that year every first youth team was able to win a title of the respective top division: the 1st Bambini became NRW champions, the 1st student and 1st youth team became ISHD Cup winners and the 1st juniors became German champions. In 2012, the first student team also achieved the cup triple after 2010 and 2011 , which they then increased to four times the cup win in 2013 and added the championship triple . The youth team also won the German Cup and the championship in 2013, followed by the juniors, who also became German champions. The CEK was therefore already the best German training club in inline skater hockey in 2013 with 5 out of 6 possible national junior titles. This was attributed to him again in 2015, after both the youth and juniors became German champions, German cup winners and European cup winners. After the 2015 season, the first teams of the CEK lead the eternal medal table of the German championship in all junior classes with z. In some cases, they had a big lead, in 2016 the junior teams won all national cup and championship titles. At the European level, the pupils and juniors reached their cup final, with the pupils winning theirs.

Further commitment

International championships and cup tournaments were organized on behalf of the ISHD and the international umbrella organization International Inline Skater Hockey Federation .

The international "Eagle Cup" has also been held since 1986 . Successful teams from several European countries (such as Denmark, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland) meet for a friendship tournament in Kaarst. Since 2009 a "Mini-Eagle-Cup" has been organized for junior teams in the Bambini age group.

Furthermore, for the 10th anniversary of the Eagles, the Eagles Plus 95 e. V. founded, the aim of which is to promote both the CEK youngsters and disabled or distressed athletes in the Neuss district in equal parts.

From 2008 to 2015 the inline hockey team "Panzerknacker" , which played according to the rules of the IHD game operation , also played under the club's roof; They were replaced by the inline skaters of the 'Green Hornets', who compete in the 'Rheingoldliga' in Düsseldorf's Brehmstrasse .
