Further commitment
In addition to various offers for the further training of sports teachers, the Red Devils Berlin are founding partners of the Rollsportschule Berlin, which was established in 2018 under the umbrella of the Inline- und Rollsportverband Berlin (IRVB). In close cooperation with Berlin associations such as the Spreewölfen Berlin and the Berlin Buffalos , and with partners such as the Berlin Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family, the State Sports Association Berlin and the municipal housing association Stadt und Land , offers are developed especially for elementary schools. For example, students in grades 1 to 6 learn B. safe inline skating in twelve-week school groups and receive coordination and movement training in a playful way. Other offers, such as project or hiking days or project weeks, offer a taster course in inline skating, which introduces the sport in a play and fun-oriented way. Here, children can discover whether they enjoy this sport or whether they can deepen and technically expand their existing experience of inline skating. In 2019, the Friedrich-Drake-Grundschule, the Giesensdorfer Grundschule, the Grundschule am Königsgraben, the Kurt-Tucholsky-Grundschule and the Grundschule am Karpfenteich will cooperate with the Roller Sport School Berlin in the school program. The Red Devils Berlin also have their own offers for beginners on inline skates as part of a running school for those interested in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district and provide information about the sport of inline skate hockey every year at the family sports festival in the Olympic Park of the Berlin State Sports Association.
