history

The Uedesheim Chiefs were founded in 1998. Since March 23, 1999 they have been playing on a hockey field that was inaugurated that day. In 2002, with the receipt of a roof, it became the hall that is still used today, the Chiefs Garden.

In 2005, the first team won the cup , which also entitles them to participate in the European Cup. There they were eliminated in the semifinals. In September 2013 the Chiefs won their second national title in the cup final. In Assenheim they won 3-2 against HC Köln-West and were thus cup winners for the second time.

At the beginning of August 2014, the Chiefs took part in the European Cup Winners' Cup in Rostock. They lost the semifinals in the penalty shootout and thus reached fourth place.

After 15 years in the Bundesliga, relegation failed for the first time in 2016. Since then, the Uedesheim Chiefs have been playing in the 2nd Inline Skaterhockey Bundesliga .

In the all-time table of the Inline-Skaterhockey-Bundesliga, the Chiefs (as of the end of the 2017 regular season) occupy ninth place (out of 47).
