The 1994 season is the 9th season of the Skaterhockey-Oberliga (also West German Oberliga, WOL), in which a German champion is determined. The organizer is the Skater Hockey Division (FSH) in the German Roller Sports Association . The Düsseldorf Rams became German champions for the sixth time ahead of their city rivals and defending champions Bullskater Düsseldorf.

The league starts with nine teams. Each team meets every other team in the first and second leg. There are two points for a win and one point for a draw. In the event of a tie at the end of the main round, the direct comparison decides on the ranking. The team that finished the season in first place are German champions. The teams in ranks eight and nine are relegated.

Renaming of the league
The skater hockey league is renamed the 1995 season in 1st Skaterhockey League (1st SHL). In addition, the play-offs to determine the German champions are introduced.
