The 2005 season was the 10th season of the Inline Skaterhockey Bundesliga . A German champion was determined for the 20th time . The organizer is the Inline Skater Hockey Germany Sports Commission of the German Rolling Sports and Inline Association . The main round started on March 5, 2005. German champions became the Duisburg Ducks , which prevailed against HC Köln-West in the final .

The 1st Bundesliga North comprised eight teams instead of nine in the previous year with the promoted team from the 2nd Bundesliga North, the Hamburg Sharks .

The North and South relays start with eight teams each. Within each season, each team meets every other team in the return leg. There are two points for a win and one point for a draw. In the event of a tie at the end of the main round, the direct comparison decides on the ranking. The first four teams of each season reach the play-offs. The teams in ranks five to eight play two play-down series crosswise. The winners of the first and second round remain in the 1st Bundesliga, the losers in the second round are relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. The two champions and the two runners-up in the 2nd Bundesliga go straight to the 1st Bundesliga. The winner of the play-offs is German champions.

Note: Adler Strausberg did not appear in the play-down games. Ahauser SV and Adler Strausberg are relegated in sport after the play-downs are over. From the second division leagues of rising Crefelder SC (Master 2. Bundesliga North), Salt City Boars Lüneburg (second 2. Bundesliga North), hot dogs Bräunlingen (Master 2. Bundesliga South) and the SG Langenfeld Devils (second 2. Bundesliga South) directly on.

The Powerkrauts Berlin withdraw from the 1st Bundesliga after the season.

fusion

The first team of the ERC Hannover Hurricanez joined the Bissendorfer Panthers after the season , which took the place of the ERC Hannover Hurricanez in the 1st Bundesliga as third in the 2nd Bundesliga North.
