The Postal Otterndorf , local conditions as Postal Hexenagger called, is an Outbound Spur castle on a steep 424  m above sea level. NHN high rock spur above the valley, the Schindergrund, near the hamlet of Ottersdorf west of Hexenagger, a district of the Altmannstein market in the Eichstätt district in Bavaria .

The lords of Ottersdorf are mentioned in a document from 1108 to 1140 as the owners of the small castle, which is difficult to capture. The castle served the local population and their cattle as a refuge .

The castle was secured by a palisade fence on the outer wall and a semicircular double wall system raised with palisades behind which there was a wooden building connected to the steep slope by a bridge on a rock spur.

Wall and moat remains from the former castle complex have been preserved. The Burgstall is now a ground monument .
