Today's Catholic parish church of Irfersdorf, consecrated to St. Margareta , was originally a fortified church with a cemetery fortification. It is a listed building (number D-1-76-114-121). According to the list of monuments, the complex includes the hall church with a pitched roof, completed in 1437 and a nave, which was baroque in 1703 and 1715/16. The upper floor of the tower dates from 1766.

Inside there is stucco from 1730 with a ceiling painting by Sebastian Wirsching 1880 (redesigned in 1969), a four-column baroque high altar from 1700 with three late Gothic figures (1470/80) with figures of the Eichstatt diocesan saints Willibald and Walburga from 1510/20 (from church book , a) Rococo - tabernacle and double-column side altars of 1703. in there is left an expressive Madonna circa 1500. noteworthy are on a pulpit in the "Byzantine" style from 1856, medieval sacrament niche font from jurassic limestone of 1730, Rococo organ case, the The tower above the cemetery entrance was already missing in 1687.
