The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Johann Evangelist is a former fortified church in Walting in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt .

The church was originally a fortified church with a cemetery fortification. It is a listed building (number = D-1-76-114-121). According to the list of monuments, the complex includes the formerly fortified Romanesque choir tower , with the nave and tower top rebuilt in 1723. The nave was extended to the west in 1923/24. The walled, formerly fortified cemetery is medieval. Worth mentioning are the rococo tombstone Wenzl and a number of tombstones from the rococo and classicism in front of the south wall of the church.
