The Mount Maguire is a big mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land with a flattened top. It rises 35 km south of the Cumpston Massif near the head of the Lambert Glacier . On its eastern flank is the Nunatak Gora Lysaja .
The mountain was mapped on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements that were taken or taken as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (1956–1958). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named him after Sergeant Ossie Maguire (* 1925) of the Royal Australian Air Force , who was a radio technician at Mawson Station in 1958.
