Michaelsberg Castle Stables

The Postal Michael Berg is an Outbound Spur castle on the 480.2  m above sea level. NHN high plateau of Michelsberg south-southwest of the Kipfenberg market in the Eichstätt district in Bavaria .

Presumably, the 150 meter long spur plateau was a prehistoric hill fort (section fortification ), possibly also a Roman mountain sanctuary and later a medieval refuge, which is believed to be owned by a knight von Holzheim. Later, the only foundations of St. Michael's Church stood there.

Remains of ramparts, ditches and walls are still preserved from the former castle complex .
