The rampart Schellsburg is an Outbound , Urnfield section mounting on the Schellenberg between Kinding and sink ring in the district of Eichstätt in Bavaria .

The ring wall system was a fortified hillside settlement on a 150 by 300 meter high plateau with double wall sections and ditches , 150 meters to the south across the ridge, from which the walls and ditches and the driveway can still be seen.

From the steep slopes in the east there is a broad view over the Altmühltal , 100 meters below , its side valleys and the Schwarzach .
