The section mounting fire is an Outbound prehistoric section castle on 460  m above sea level. NHN in the “Brand” corridor area about 625 meters north-northwest of the Heilig Kreuz church in Schambach , a district of the market town of Kipfenberg in the Eichstätt district in Bavaria .

From the former section fortification, a 110 meter long section wall with a rampart and remains of trenches have been preserved.
