The Hanover Pass is a 1000 m high mountain pass on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in the Anare Mountains on the southwest side of Mount Elliott between the Kirkby and O'Hara glaciers .
Scientists of the German expedition GANOVEX I (1979–1980) made his name.
