The Hannoversche Beteiligungsgesellschaft limited liability company is a corporation founded in 1986, holding company of the state of Lower Saxony , which holds Lower Saxony companies usually investments.

The company is based in Hanover (from 2011 to 2014 in Groß Berßen ) and has a share capital of 315,978,000 euros. All shares are held by the State of Lower Saxony, represented by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Finance . In 2010, the company achieved an annual profit of € 17 million. Its managing directors are Thomas Brase and Ulrich Böckmann.
