Hanns Peter Euler

Hanns Peter Euler (born August 10, 1941 in Schweinfurt , Bavaria ) is a German sociologist and business economist living in Austria .

Life

Hanns Peter Euler studied technical business administration at the University of Karlsruhe between 1961 and 1966 and obtained his doctorate in 1972. rer. pole. at the resident faculty for humanities and social sciences, where he held a professorship for work, industrial and company sociology between 1979 and 1982 .

From December 1982 he was a full professor at the Department of Economic Sociology and Urban and Regional Research at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, which was part of the Institute for Sociology . Hanns Peter Euler is considered an organizational psychologist in some circles, as the demarcation between sociology and psychology is not always clear. Hanns Peter Euler is best known for his studies on conflict diversion . On September 30, 2009, Euler retired as a full university professor at the JKU Linz.

One of his writings outside of sociology is an essay on August Euler , whose grandson he is.
