Hans-Albert Blume

Hans-Albert Blume (born June 19, 1940 in Copenhagen ) is a trainer in German horse racing .

At the age of 42 he started his career as a coach. For a long time he was the trainer of the Röttgen stud in Cologne-Heumar. With 1171 victories as a coach (as of the end of 2015), he belongs to the Club of 1000 who have won more than 1000. His biggest win he achieved in 2000 with Kallisto in the Italian Derby ( Group I race ), with which he reached fourth place in the German Derby in the same year .

Hans-Albert is the son of the jockey and later trainer Hans Blume , who won the German Derby as a trainer in 1952 .
