from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hans-Berndt Neuner (born August 19, 1975 in Bucharest ) is a geodesist and has been a professor at the Vienna University of Technology since 2013 . From 2000 to 2013 he worked at the University of Hanover in the field of engineering geodesy and deformation analysis.

Neuner studied surveying at the University of Bucharest , where he graduated in 1999 with a diploma. He then worked at the Geodetic Institute of the University of Hanover, where he also did his doctorate. In addition to extensive teaching activities in various areas of engineering surveying, he increasingly dealt with the analysis of geodetic deformation measurements and was co-author of a relevant textbook in 2012. In June 2013 he was appointed full professor at the TU Wien, where he succeeded Andreas Wieser in autumn 2013.
