Hans-Christoph Knebusch

Hans-Christoph Knebusch (born October 31, 1928 - † June 18, 2006 ) was a German cultural journalist.

Hans-Christoph Knebusch was one of the co-founders of RIAS Berlin and was a member of the editorial team from 1946 to 1963. He built up the radio there, was responsible for training numerous editors and reporters and shaped the style of current political programs. In 1963 Knebusch was one of the first employees of ZDF and thus belongs to its founding generation.

Knebusch was employed as editor and deputy to the studio manager in Berlin. He was anchored in Berlin's cultural scene and was responsible for the ZDF culture magazine aspekte and, right up to the end, also for the monument protection series Citizens Save Your Cities! . He was also engaged as a conversation partner in the show Witnesses of the Century . In 1993 Knebusch retired.

Hans-Christoph Knebusch died in June 2006 at the age of 77. His grave is in the state's own cemetery in Heerstraße in Berlin-Westend (grave location: II-W12-85 / 86).
