Hans-Dieter Clauser (born June 12, 1950 in Leverkusen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Clauser passed his advanced technical college entrance qualification in 1968 and studied structural engineering and special civil engineering at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal from 1969 to 1973 , from which he graduated in 1973 as a graduate engineer. From 1973 to 1997 he worked as a manager, after which he became self-employed as a building contractor.

He joined the CDU in 1979 and was a member of the Langenfeld City Council from 1984 to 1990 . From 2005 to 2012 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . There he was a full member of the Budget and Finance Committee, the Interior Committee and the Sports Committee. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , Clauser lost his direct mandate in the Mettmann I state electoral district to Jens Geyer and left the state parliament.

Social Commitment

Even as a member of the state parliament, the subject of "vocational training" was an affair of the heart. In this context, Clauser launched the career orientation exchange "BOB" in Langenfeld, at which employers (including authorities or, for example, the German Armed Forces ) can present themselves in the form of a trade fair and talk directly to young people looking for a training place. Over the years the BOB has developed into a training exchange with a national character. In order to put the BOB on a secure footing even after its time in the state parliament, the association "BOBplus eV" was founded in 2012, which organizes and organizes the career orientation exchange. Hans-Dieter Clauser has been the chairman of the association since it was founded.
