Hans-Friedrich Müller

Hans-Friedrich Müller (born November 10, 1964 in Wiesbaden ) is a German legal scholar , university professor and judge .

Life

Müller completed a law degree at the University of Mainz and obtained an LL.M. Degree from the University of Bristol . Müller completed his legal clerkship in the Higher Regional Court district of Koblenz . He received his doctorate in 1995 with the thesis The right of exit of the GmbH partner at the University of Mannheim . The habilitation takes place in 2001 with the work The Association in Insolvency at the University of Cologne .

In 2004, Müller followed the call to the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen and Halbach Endowed Professorship for German and International Civil and Business Law at the Political Science Faculty of the University of Erfurt . In 2011 he accepted a position at the University of Trier , where he held the chair for civil, commercial and economic law. In the 2017/2018 academic year he held the office of dean .

Since 2015, Müller has also been a judge at the Koblenz Higher Regional Court .

Research priorities

Müller's research focus is initially in the area of European private law , he also deals more intensively with the areas of insolvency law and company law .
