Hans-Günter Heumann
Hans-Günter Heumann (born December 29, 1955 ) is a German composer , music teacher and book author .
He studied piano with Hans Priegnitz and Konrad Meister , composition with Einar Steen-Nøkleberg, as well as music education and musicology at the Hanover University of Music .
After studying composition in New York and New Orleans as a piano teacher and composer, he now lives as a freelance composer and author in southern Germany. He published several piano schools and series of educational piano works.
At the beginning of 2000, Hans-Günter Heumann published a four-color music lexicon for children at Schott Music , a comprehensive reference work that was awarded the German Music Edition Prize 2000.
