Hans-Georg Gerling

Hans-Georg Gerling (born January 12, 1943 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). Err was a member of the Bremen Parliament .

Life

education and profession

Gerling attended business school. From 1959 to 1962 he was training at the savings and loan association Huchting . He was then a clerk and cashier there. After completing his military service, he was employed by the savings and loan fund from 1967 and, after a merger in 1972, at the Bremische Volksbank .

politics

Gerling has been a member of the CDU since 1982. Between 1983 and 1991 he was a member of the advisory board at the Huchting local authority and has been chairman of the CDU district association Huchting since 1988. He was a member of the state board of the CDU Bremen and from 2008 to 2012 chairman of the CDU district association Bremen-Stadt. After he had announced that he would not run again as district chairman, the former building senator Jens Eckhoff was elected as his successor.

From 1995 (interruption June to September 2007) to 2011 he was a member of the Bremen Parliament. Here he was represented in the state advisory board for sport, in the budget and finance committee, in the petitions committee and in the deputation for sport.

Memberships and offices

He is a member of the supervisory board of Bremer Sport & Freizeit GmbH.
