Hans-Heinrich Eilers

Hans-Heinrich Eilers (born August 30, 1931 in Cuxhaven ; † August 7, 2019 in Cuxhaven) was a German city ​​director and, as a politician ( SPD ), member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

biography

After primary school, Eilers attended high school in Cuxhaven. Here he passed his Abitur in 1952 and then began studying law at the University of Hamburg . In 1956 he passed the first state examination in law at the Hamburg Higher Regional Court and began his legal preparatory service in Lower Saxony. After graduating with the second state examination , he obtained his doctorate in 1968. jur. in Göttingen.

From 1960 Eilers was a civil servant in the Lower Saxony state administration. In May 1964 he was seconded and in January 1965 he was transferred to the district of Celle as general representative of the senior district director. From June 1968 he was senior city director of the city of Cuxhaven. He held this position until his election to the state parliament in 1990.

Eilers was a member of the supervisory board of Seefischmarkt und Hafenumschlag Cuxhaven GmbH and Cux Port, Seehafen Dienstleistungs GmbH in Cuxhaven. Since 1991 he was councilor and alderman of the city of Cuxhaven.

From 1990 to 1998 (12th and 13th electoral terms) Eilers represented the constituency of Cuxhaven in the Lower Saxony state parliament .
