Hans-Jörg Dannenberg

Hans-Jörg Dannenberg (born November 10, 1957 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Dannenberg is a graduate engineer (FH) and lives in Gera , where he was alderman and department head of the city administration as well as chairman of the supervisory board of GWB "Elstertal" GmbH and chairman of the supervisory board of "Elstertal" Infraprojekt GmbH Gera.

On December 1, 1992, he replaced Josef Duchač , who had left the parliament , in the Thuringian state parliament, to which he was a member until 1994.

In 1994 Dannenberg became a member of the Gera City Council and was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there from 2004. In 2014 he became an assessor for East Thuringia in the state board of the CDU Thuringia Local Political Association . He did not run for the 2019 local elections. On the occasion of his retirement from active politics, Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow awarded him the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany on May 28, 2019 .
