Hans-Jörg Meyer (born April 20, 1964 in Wolfenbüttel ) is a German marksman who mainly competes in the air pistol discipline and also in the free pistol discipline .

Hans-Jörg Meyer is a state-certified mechanical engineering technician. The Wolfenbütteler starts for the Schützenbund Broistedt and is trained by Peter Kraneis. Meyer has been successfully competing in the World Cup since 2005. The best results in 2005 and 2008 were fourth places with the air pistol in Munich . Also in Munich in 2005 he achieved his best result with the free pistol in fifth place. In 2006 Meyer was 33rd with the air pistol at the World Championships, in 2008 in Winterthur at the European Championships in the same discipline eighth. He qualified for the Olympic Games of Beijing , where he was about 50 meters with the free pistol 12 and over 10 meters with the air gun 20. In 2009 he was runner-up in the free pistol over 50 m discipline at the European Championships in Osijek.
