Hans-Jörg Seeberger
Hans-Jörg Seeberger (* 1943 in Worms ; † October 19, 2007 in Mallorca ) was a German entrepreneur.
Seeberger emigrated to Japan in 1965 , where he took over the representation of German companies, including the watch company Dugena . In the 1980s he became director of Dugena on the recommendation of the then DG Bank , but then left when the promised participation in the company failed to materialize. Seeberger went to Hong Kong , where he founded the Egana company. With the IPO , he finally financed the purchase of Dugena in 1993. In 1998 Egana took over the bag manufacturer Goldpfeil and merged to become EganaGoldpfeil . In total, the company had three dozen of its own brands , including Junghans and Salamander , as well as 14 licensed brands.
