Hans-Jürgen Findeis is a German Roman Catholic New Testament scholar .

Life

1977-1981 he was a research assistant of Helmut Merklein at the University of Wuppertal . After Hubert Ritt moved to Bonn in 1986, he took over as a substitute for the second chair in Catholic theology in Wuppertal . After receiving his doctorate in 1979 as a Dr. theol. in Münster he taught as a professor for Introduction to the New Testament and New Testament Contemporary History at the University of Bonn and was a specialist advisor for foreign students.
