Hans-Jürgen Salewski (born August 23, 1956 ) is a former German soccer player.
Career
Salewski played in the youth team of FC Schalke 04 . He reached the final of the German football championship 1974/75 with the A-Jugend der Knappen . In the final, Salewski led the team, which was supervised by coach Uli Maslo , as team captain in the Georg Gaßmann Stadium . The final opponent was VfB Stuttgart , who won the game 4-0.
Salewski moved from youth to Westfalia Herne and played in the 2nd Bundesliga for a year . After 24 games he returned to the S04. During this time he did not play a game for the Bundesliga club . He then played again in the 2nd Bundesliga for Westfalia Herne and Preußen Münster . In 1979 he tried again to gain a foothold in the Bundesliga. He went to Eintracht Braunschweig and made his debut on matchday 6 in the 2-1 defeat at SV Werder Bremen . The game remained his only Bundesliga game. He switched to Tennis Borussia Berlin and played in the 2nd Bundesliga until 1981.
