Hans-Joachim Reichert

Hans-Joachim Reichert (born March 24, 1941 ; † March 28, 2010 ) was a German bank manager.

In the 1960s Reichert initially worked as a foreign exchange trader at Chase Manhattan in Frankfurt, Toronto-Dominion Bank in Toronto and Sveriges Kreditbank in Stockholm.

In 1967, when he joined the DGZ, he joined the savings bank organization , initially working in money and foreign exchange trading and then playing a decisive role in the founding of DGZ International in Luxembourg in the early 1970s, the development of which he closely accompanied for a long time as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

In 1977 Reichert became a general representative, and in 1986 a member of the DGZ board.

After the merger with DekaBank in 1999, he was also a member of the board of the new institute.
