Hans-Joachim Scheel
Hans Joachim Scheel (born June 23, 1933 in Apolda ; † February 28, 2015 in Warburg ) was a German motorcycle racer and doctor .
life and career
Scheel was one of the most successful motorsport drivers in the GDR and three times GDR champion . After his motorsport career in 1972 he went to Germany and worked in Warburg as a medical specialist for orthopedics . Scheel died on February 28, 2015 at the age of 81.
