Hans-Joachim Schilde

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hans-Joachim Schilde (born January 25, 1946 ) is a German television journalist and former pastor.

Life

Hans-Joachim Schilde has shown the suffering of people in the Third World in several films . His specialty is Burma . He supports several schools and hospitals in Burma.

Jochen Schilde lives in Oslo. Together with Lothar Späth (deceased Prime Minister Baden-Württemberg) and Kaare Willoch (former Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway), he founded the German-Norwegian Society at the beginning of the 1990s. Federal President Richard von Weizäcker awarded him the Federal Cross of Merit on September 1, 1994 for his social commitment.

Schilde's way of working is considered manipulative. Between 1990 and 1994 he made several films about Sudan for Bayerischer Rundfunk , in which he evidently used the same outdated image material over and over again, evidently around "the impression of a unified, largely Christian liberation front SPLA in South Sudan, which stands for freedom and democracy" to awaken, which has nothing to do with the actual conditions in the country. Repeated manipulations and false accusations against the children's aid organization Unicef , also in contributions for the ARD, led to a judicial dispute.
