Hans-Jochim Brauer (born August 26, 1945 in Helmstedt ) is a German teacher and former member of the Bundestag ( The Greens ).

Life

education and profession

Brauer studied sport, biology and education and was a teacher at a secondary school, at an orientation level and a school for child and adolescent psychiatry.

politics

In the 1987 federal election , Brauer was elected to the German Bundestag via the Lower Saxony state list of the Greens , to which he was a member until the end of the 11th electoral term in December 1990. In the Bundestag, Brauer was a full member of the sports committee and deputy member of the committee for the environment, nature conservation and reactor safety.

In addition, he was a district board member of the Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND).
