Hans-Otto Grünefeldt

Hans-Otto Grünefeldt (born November 4, 1915 in Langensalza ; † November 4, 1991 ) was a German television producer and program director .

Life

Hans-Otto Grünefeldt came to Radio Frankfurt in 1946, the forerunner of today's Hessischer Rundfunk . After various stations in radio, he became head of the main department for games, entertainment and afternoon programming in television in 1957. In 1962 Grünefeldt switched to Westdeutscher Rundfunk , but returned to Hessischer Rundfunk the following year, where he took over the post of television program director, which he held until his retirement in 1981.

At the beginning of his radio career, Grünefeldt wrote several radio plays. He was seen on television in 1965 in the film adaptation of Heinrich Böll's short story Doctor Murke's Collected Silence , and in 1970 he appeared in the Blauer Bock .

Hans-Otto Grünefeldt was married to the pop singer and actress Maria Mucke (1919-2018) from 1950 until his death , with whom he had the daughter Susanne. The couple rests together in the Thalerfeld cemetery in Kronberg im Taunus .
