Hans-Peter Bohrig
Hans-Peter Bohrig (born March 11, 1938 ) is a German local politician ( CDU ).
Career
Bohrig was mayor or lord mayor of the Saxon district town of Pirna from April 1991 to 2001 . During his tenure, the old town of Pirna was renovated. During the reconstruction of Sonnenstein Castle , as chairman of the Sonnenstein Memorial Board of Trustees, he campaigned for the memory of the euthanasia victims of the Nazi killing center in Pirna-Sonnenstein to receive due attention. He was also chairman of the association for the renovation of the St. Mary's Church .
