Hans-Werndl-Hof
The Hans-Werndl-Hof is located at Breitenfurter Straße 242 in the 23rd district of Liesing in the city of Vienna . The municipal housing of the City of Vienna is under monument protection ( list entry ).
history
The community housing was built in 1928 by the then independent community of Atzgersdorf under the mayor Johann Werndl with the master builder and architect Leopold Schumm . The municipal housing is one of only two municipal housing in Vienna that was not built by the City of Vienna (both by the Atzgersdorf municipality).
architecture
The three- to four-storey building that defines the north side of Atzgersdorfer Platz has a raised central projection with a gabled balcony axis and lateral loggias.
