Johann Werndl

Johann "Hans" Werndl (born June 4, 1887 in Rappottenstein ; † November 4, 1938 ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and secondary school teacher. Werndl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1927 to 1934 .

Life

Werndl attended the exercise and community school and subsequently graduated from the teacher training college in Salzburg. He entered the service of the Lower Austrian school service, worked as a secondary school teacher and lived in Liesing . He was also editor of the magazine “Die Gemeinde” and an author. He wrote a “New Disciplinary Law”.

politics

Werndl was district party leader of the Social Democratic Workers' Party in Austria. Werndl worked as the mayor of Atzgersdorf from 1919 and represented the SDAP in the Lower Austrian state parliament between May 20, 1927 and February 16, 1934. Werndl lost his state parliament mandate as part of the SDAP ban after the outbreak of the February fighting .
