Hans-Wilhelm Pesch

Hans-Wilhelm Pesch (born June 19, 1937 in Rheydt ) is a former German politician ( CDU ).

After graduating from high school, Pesch studied economics and business administration. He was also the managing director of a company.

In 1964 Pesch joined the CDU, where he became district chairman in 1986. In 1969 he entered the city council of Mönchengladbach for the first time . From 1975 to 1984 he was mayor of Mönchengladbach and at the same time parliamentary group chairman in the city council. From 1983 to 1998 Pesch sat in the German Bundestag . He always won the direct mandate in the Bundestag constituency of Mönchengladbach .
